Aldi Special Buys release Ecovacs Robotics Deebot Neo vacuum for $399

One of Australia’s favourite vacuum brands is hitting shelves with its price slashed by half.

Ecovacs Robotics is teaming up with Aldi to bring the Deebot Neo into stores once again as part of the supermarket’s March 8 Special Buys drop.

However instead of its usual $799 price tag, it will sell for just $399.

“We are thrilled to be welcoming back Ecovacs to our Special Buys aisle. The Deebot Neo is an impressive product, packed full of cutting-edge features that deliver exceptional cleaning results,” an Aldi Australia spokesperson said.

“Our shoppers will be eager to get their hands on this timesaving product especially at this incredible price point of $399.”

The vacuum was developed last year specifically for the Australian market, and Ecovacs ANZ regional director Karen Powell said it was great to see it impacting the day-to-day lives of Aussies.

“We know from recent local research that robotic vacuum cleaners are more desired than ever before as the ease of use and timesaving benefits become more well-known,” Ms Powell said.

“Our work with Aldi continues to help with this excitement as we are able to offer a great deal and further our mission to deliver Robotics For All.”

The product includes features such as the ability to mop and vacuum at the same time.

It also features TrueMapping, which uses laser technology to properly navigate and understand the size of the user’s home to get the job done.

Other features include automatic charging, so when the vacuum is low on battery it automatically puts itself on the charging dock before returning to where it was.

Judy, a health professional from Canberra, purchased the device last year, and said she uses it at least three times a week.

“The Deebot Neo zips around my home helping me keep dust bunnies, dog hair and teenage crumbs at bay. It ticks one chore off my to-do list so I can focus on everything else that needs doing,” she said.
