Chadwick Boseman Celebrated By Stars Like Oprah Winfrey, Mark Ruffalo And Many More During Touching

More and more fellow starts are remembering Chadwick Boseman after his shocking death. That being said, Oprah Winfrey, Robert Downey Jr. and more paid tribute to the Black Panther actor on ABC and it was truly touching.

As you know, Chadwick Boseman passed away after four years of secretly battling colon cancer and the whole world has been mourning him, including fellow celebs who were either friends, co-workers or simply held him in very high regard.

Sure enough, ‘It’s only fit to be mourning him like a king,’ just like Elizabeth Olsen said.

Olsen spoke these words and more as part of ABC’s special tribute that aired yesterday, August 30.

‘A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much,’ the Avengers co-star went on.

Angelina Jolie, Oprah Winfrey, Chris Evans and many more honored Chadwick.

Paul Rudd stated that: ‘I thought back to all those performances and all of those incredible people he’s played and I realized I do not think you can do it as convincingly as he did if he did not possess that grace in real life. You cannot act that. To all those little kids who love Black Panther and look up to T’Challa as a hero, just know that the guy who played him is an even bigger hero in real life.’

Similarly, Mark Ruffalo raved over the late actor as well, saying that ‘He’s a historical figure as the Black Panther, but also such a good and decent human being…The world’s a less beautiful place without him.’

As mentioned before, even Oprah Winfrey celebrated his legacy and bravery, saying in part that ‘The way he handled his life and managing cancer with such humility and grace and dignity lets us all know that he truly was a superhero. He will be remembered, cherished and loved in our hearts, not just for what he was able to offer on film, but what he was able to give as a human being. And it’s not just a loss that we’re feeling. We’re going to feel his absence.’
