DIY fanatic uses ICE CUBES to keep her rug corners stuck down and people cant believe how well it

A DIY whizz has shared a hack for getting the corners of your rug to lay flat and it's a total game changer.

Sara, who often shared organisation and home tips on her Instagram recently left viewers amazed with small but mighty hack.

If you've got any rugs in your home your probably already know how annoying it can be to try and get those pesky corners to lay flush against to floor.

There are a few different ways you can try and stop the corners from curling, but this one won't cost you a single penny.

All you need to do is take a few ice cubes from your freezer and lay them on top of the corner in question - or all of them if they're all being unruly.

Then grab something heavy to hold to very edge in place as the ice melts into the fabric.

Once the ice has melted you can remove the weight and your rug should be totally flat.

Sara said: "I saw this somewhere and wanted to give it a try, I must say I'm pleasantly surprised."

That said, the mum wasn't sure how long the trick would last, but it's quick and easy enough to repeat every so often if the corners do pop back up.

It turns out the ice trick is good for other rug and carpet problems too.
