Euphoria star Hunter Schafer made a splash on the Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2023 red carpet yesterday, dressed in a daring Ann Demeulemeester look that featured a single white feather styled as a bandeau.

In addition to the piece of plumage – held in place by only a thin strap – the outfit included a low-slung, slip-style silk maxi skirt, Page Six reports.

The transgender actress kept her makeup minimal for the evening, opting for little besides a subtly smoky cat eye, and accessorised with two Mara Paris rings.

Schafer’s gravity-defying, underboob-baring tube top received rave reviews on social media.

“I wish I could trust people as much as Hunter Schafer trusts that piece of fabric,” one person tweeted.

Schafer, 24, was styled by Law Roach – who also works with her Euphoria co-star and friend Zendaya – and the stylist shared a snap of the barely there ensemble on his Instagram as well, to much fanfare.

“My first thought was, ‘She’s gotta be freezing!’” one commenter wrote.

“I’d be terrified to move,” another wrote.

“My nipples could never,” said a third.

Zendaya jumped into the comments section as well, calling the look “stunning” and dropping a heart-eyed emoji.

A few people took issue with Schafer’s scantily clad style, though, with one person writing that the actress “is missing the rest of the dress,” continuing, “She is gorgeous but that doesn’t mean that this looks good.”

Another person posed the question, “Oh when will nudity STOP being an accessory?”
